Forum: Third Generation Magna TE - TW

I've got a manual TR 4Cyl, and my current times are 13.5 secs for 0-100 and 6.7 secs fo 0-60 My engine needs a little work (tappets of death etc etc), but from what ive seen on the NRMA car guide website, the TR is meant to do 0 - 100 in 12 secs.

when i hit 220 the car punches the accel. back at me a couple of times - is it the engine cutting out? as its only at about 4.5 revs is it a computer limiting the speed? if so - how do i remove the limit? thanx
